The Institute of Applied Equine Podiatry was founded in 2003. It provides the only recognised qualification in Equine Podiatry and represents the highest standards in the hoof care industry to date.

KC is an internationally acknowledged expert on the equine foot and has defined his work as the Science of Applied Equine Podiatry based upon his research formulating the Suspension Theory of Hoof Dynamics from which the High Performance Trim Method evolved.

The development of Applied Equine Podiatry has enabled horse owners to integrate a science with evidence based values promoting Whole Horse Hoof Care into the daily management regime of their horse.
