Introduction of 'Bit of Essence'
Assist with the assembly and Introduction of the skeleton of a rescued Quarter horse called 'Bit of Essence' as an educational tool to show the affects of acute founder. Essence was seized by the Horse Protection Association Florida (HPAF) where KC was asked to act as an expert witness on behalf of the HPAF. KC’s lectures were all very well attended with up to 300 people including many farriers and blacksmiths as the World Championship Blacksmiths Regional Competition was taking place.
