La Pierre Performance Hoof Care

KC and Robyn La Pierre co-founded the International Institute of Equine Podiatry Inc. in 2003. It provides the only qualification in Equine Podiatry and represents the highest standards in the hoof care industry to date.

KC La Pierre PhD is a Registered Journeyman Farrier and Master Equine Podiatrist and Robyn La Pierre is an Advanced Equine Podiatrist. KC is also a member (soon to be Master) of the Guild of Professional Farriers and an internationally acknowledged expert on the equine foot. KC has defined his work as the Science of Applied Equine Podiatry based upon his research formulating the Suspension Theory of Hoof Dynamics from which the High Performance Trim evolved. The goal of the Institute is to integrate the practice of Applied Equine Podiatry and Whole Health Hoof Care into the daily care regime of the horse.
