Harri a 4 year old pure Welsh Section D Cob who from birth had been kept on pasture turnout during the summer and in a deep litter straw barn throughout the winter. A change in environment had helped to improve Harri's hoof condition but it did not control the repeated attacks of fungal infection. The combination of AEP, Clean Traxing and the HPT has produced the hoof below and one which I am proud to say was selected as 'Hoof of the Month' for November 2006 as featured in the International Institute of Equine Podiatry's The Perfect Hoof Club newsletter. |
